About the Role

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct and participate in FLHAs, tailgate meetings, and equipment inspections.
• Perform window cleaning, eavestrough cleaning, and pressure cleaning.
• Use ladders, water fed poles and pressure washing equipment in populated areas.
• Conduct work from the ropes, ladders, and man-lifts.

Employment Type:
• Full-time seasonal employment, May 1st – August 31st (student opportunity).
• Full-time seasonal employment, May 1st – October 31st.

Work Area:
• Edmonton and the surrounding municipalities.

Salary:
• $20 - $35 per hour (based on relative experience).
• Paid overtime.
• Year-end bonuses.

Requirements


  • Valid Alberta driver’s license and transportation method.

  • IRATA or SPRAT preferred (not required).

  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.

  • Ability to work effectively as a part of a team.

  • Excellent problem solving, adaptability and time management skills.

  • Exhibit a safety-consciousness mindset and a professional work ethic.

  • Physically fit, able to ascend and descend ladders.

  • Able to comfortably lift 50lbs.

As a rope access technician, the primary responsibilities will be window cleaning of condominium and commercial properties. Additional responsibly will include the use of water-fed poles, pressure washing equipment, ladders, and man-lifts.

All training is paid for and provided by Off The Ledge Inc. (OTL).
