At Off The Ledge safety is our central principle and we believe it is fundamental to a healthy work environment. A Certificate Of Recognition (COR) shows that the employer’s Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) has been evaluated by a certified auditor and meets provincial standards established by Partnerships in Injury Reduction (PIR).
As well as being a COR company, we have created an innovative, one of a kind safety program that not only meets but also exceeds the highest standards of safety for our industry. To accomplish this we continually identify health and safety concerns in an individually tailored, work plan for every job site. Standard operating procedures (SOPs) are available for all tasks performed and our technicians have access to these SOPs on a cloud-based system at all times. Every OTL team member is knowledgeable of current OHS standards while knowing how to perform every task smoothly and safely.

Every rope-access site has a minimum of two rope access specialists with at least one member of the team being the rope access supervisor. All rope access sites are assessed by a Level 2 or 3 Industrial Rope Access Association (IRATA) technician prior to performing any work. OTL guarantees that the work being performed complies with OHS standards, IRATA safe work practices, and our own strict health and safety policy.
